Navigating Growth and Adaptation at COUCH Health
Background
COUCH Health is a global creative health engagement agency that has grown from 5 to 25 employees in a short period of time. The agency’s growth necessitated the move to a new office and presented several challenges during the implementation and rollout of processes in a hybrid environment.
The challenge
The agency experienced various challenges during its rapid growth. Firstly, the increased number of employees posed difficulties in maintaining efficient communication and coordination. Additionally, the need for larger office space due to the expanded team presented logistical and operational hurdles. Moreover, the shift to a hybrid working model brought about challenges in managing remote and in-office work arrangements, as well as coordinating desk bookings.
The Solution
To address these challenges, Greystone implemented a comprehensive set of solutions. They implemented a full remote working IT infrastructure using Microsoft Modern Workplace, enabling seamless collaboration and communication among employees, regardless of their physical location. Robust IT Security policies were put in place to protect sensitive information and ensure data privacy compliance along with technical assistance with compliance reviews. Leveraging Microsoft 365 enabled the consolidation of project management, collaboration, and communication tools into a single platform. Internal processes were streamlined to enhance efficiency and optimise workflows. A new hi-definition video conferencing suite was installed to give remote meetings and sales pitches that important professional edge.
The Results
The implemented strategies brought about several positive outcomes for COUCH Health. Professionalism in communication significantly improved as employees had access to reliable and integrated communication channels. The eased workload and enhanced quality of work life contributed to increased employee satisfaction and productivity. Efficiency improvements were observed through streamlined processes, reducing time-consuming manual tasks and improving overall operational effectiveness. The agency achieved cost savings by eliminating redundant systems and optimising resource allocation. Importantly, the adherence to Cyber Essentials provided a robust cybersecurity framework, safeguarding sensitive information from potential threats. COUCH Health can now successfully manage the complexities of the hybrid working model with a desk booking system. This ensures smooth collaboration and seamless transitions between remote and in-office work arrangements.
Through an innovative and adaptive approach, Greystone has helped COUCH Health in demonstrating its commitment to excellence and showcase its ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
What were the results
On a project like this, there are many moving parts that Greystone needed to consider: distribution of service delivery, compliance and regulation, internal stakeholders, security and education of the workforce, all of which were identified with steps taken to mitigate risk.
Throughout the process, Greystone identified further areas they could help primarily surrounding the onboarding of new employees, and associated IT equipment and devices. As part of the rollout for Intune, Greystone designed and incorporated a blueprint for the physical delivery of devices and organisational systems, ensuring a smooth and secure process which ultimately improves cyber security protocol and asset management.
Greystone had the proven track record to give confidence we would deliver – they did and then some. Greyston’s tenacity and desire to provide an all-round solution has meant that the client’s workforce is safe and secure, regardless of their location and we have dramatically reduced their technical debt whilst future-proofing the client with a blueprint they can roll out for years to come.
